Trafford Council are committed to supporting our unemployed residents back into work, utilising our Adult Education Budget to upskill and engage our residents with digital skills.

In today’s market, 82% of jobs require digital skills and there is a general lack of confidence with digital literacy among our long-term unemployed adults.

To tackle this, we are working with delivery partners to deliver a series of Level 1 and Level 2 digital skills training courses across Trafford, engaging residents with hyperlocal training on their doorstep.

The courses are incentivised, providing learners with CV-boosting accreditations, £30 in shopping vouchers and a tablet upon course completion. Courses are running across the borough in multiple locations, parents can email skills@trafford.gov.uk to find their closest course and reserve a place.
